ROLL OUT NOTICE 2024

Scurry County Appraisal District will have field appraisers driving the county for the 2024 appraisal year.
Property appraisers’ vehicles have signs reading, “Scurry County Appraisal District”  in addition to personal identification.
Every effort will be made to complete any on-site measuring as quickly as possible.


This website provides information concerning property values  and other important property tax information, which includes the access links to pay online 2023 taxes, found above at the Online Services tab at the top of this page.  If you have questions, call (325) 573-8549 or email scad@scurrytex.com.

Scurry County Appraisal District is responsible for appraising all real and business personal property within Scurry County. The district appraises property according to the Texas Property Tax Code and the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practices (USPAP).

To provide a uniform and equal market value appraisal according to the statutes of the Texas Property Tax Code accompanied by excellent customer service and transparency.

Scurry Appraisal District is responsible for the fair market appraisal of properties

Interpreters
Non-english speaking persons are encouraged to provide a personal interpreter. If a person cannot provide an interpreter, the District will attempt to arrange for interpreting assistance provided a written request is submitted to the Chief Appraiser at least three (3) business days in advance of the meeting.

Access by Disabled Persons
District Facilities allow access by disabled indi­viduals. Handicapped parking space is available at the front parking lot of the District office. Indi­viduals who need additional assistance for entry or access should notify the District at least three (3) business days in advance of the meeting.
